ANSA and Mr. mild December wish you: Happy holidays and 2024 with movement, safety and happiness.
This year in 2023, as we said in another post, December (is) was mild and good-natured. So he allowed us to take a walk around the city’s hotels and downtown streets. In Plaka, the Commercial Triangle, Monastiraki, Psirri as well as wider.
Hotels, as usual, “give it all” that is, they put their best foot forward to meet this good gentleman. Brilliant lighting, kourambies, honey macaroons, juice, coffee tea are available to the customer at the entrance. Welcome drink. The employees also wear their best smiles.
Mild December hopes to secure a suitable climate for happy holidays and seems generally pleased. But the merchants of the city would like it colder in order to sell their heavy goods. As they say, a lot of people walk around but don’t buy!
Tourists make their presence felt everywhere. Many Cypriots come to shop because they can reasonably find cheaper clothes from Cyprus! The bed city’s infrastructure is pretty beefed up, so all comers are welcome. The focus is ready. Cafes and bars decorated. Taxis and transfers ready. Ansa car rental has serviced first-line passenger vehicles and staff equipped with a good attitude to offer quality service on site or to and from hotels and the airport.
So everything bodes well. Good to be in Athens and traveling from and to Athens.
