Within the context of quality posts in areas (https://ansa.gr) is about a new Archaeological multi-thematic Museum that covers the area of Evia more widely. It is Digital and easily accessible from both Sterea Ellada and Eretria by ferry. Both museums have a wealth of informative material from which we transmeet a few here. Arethousa is a well-known and nearby destination from Athens. The Archaeological Museum of Eretria is small but excellent. It has a long history and a scientific character. Schools visit it and are taught. The Swiss Archaeological School is doing good wonders. The tour of the new Archaeological Museum of Chalkida <<Arethousa>> begins with two time-honored travel destinations, Euripos in Chalkida and the thermal baths in Edipsos. The unique phenomenon of Euripus is connected to the depiction of spirals on vases of the third and second millennium BC. as well as in the statue of Poseidon that was raised from the bottom of the channel of Euripus. Get to know the ancient spa town of Edipsos through statues and tombstones. See also the pebble floor, with the marine representation of Triton fighting Scylla, from Eretria of the 4th century BC. Travel to Eretria

You will arrive with https://ansa.gr in Eretria via Oropos by ferry. The route is more beautiful through Kapandriti, Kalamos, Agioi Apostoloi, Oropos without tolls. You get information from the internet about the opening hours of the Museums. Give priority, if you want visit first Chalkida. Then you return to Eretria and enjoy a meal at a fish restaurant.

The itinerary in Eretria includes points, based on the map, such as: the Western Quarter, the Heroon, the Western Gate, Andiro of the Tombs, the Temple of Dionysus, the Theater, the Gymnasium, the House with the Mosaics, the Roman Baths, the sanctuary of Daphniphorus Apollo, the Agora and the Dome, the Port Baths, the palaestra, the sanctuary of Athena, the Thesmophorion. The Acropolis:

Easy walk along the wall to the top of the citadel which offers a panoramic view of the Euboean Gulf and a easy escape into nature. The Acropolis was inhabited as throughout antiquity. Its most important monuments are public utility buildings, such as a reservoir and private residences. The ancient wall surrounds the top of the hill and the whole city. At the top of the Acropolis dominates a vast flat area, where the foundations of a temple dedicated to Athena were found.
